Conducted Independent verification and validation (IV & V) services to the Core Financial and Logistics System (CoreFLS) project in accordance with industry best practices and comply with Federal and Departmental Policy.
Issued an independent quality assessment and evaluation report for the functionality and technical design of various CoreFLS systems which includes Oracle 11i, Maximo, and Dynamed components, month-end and year-end closing and federal financial reports through module testing, process review and examination.
This is the first federal project we had to provide Functional and Testing Consultants at Education Department, Financial Student Aid (FSA) to support the Oracle Financial Management Systems (FMS). We designed enhanced various student loan programs (FEEL, VFA, DLS, NSLDS) and designed several renovated interfaces and Financial Partner (FP) Datamart, Pay.Gov payments through web form, and Lockbox and EFT payments to CA$HLINK and Treasury back in 2005.
We participated this project for five years to first provide production support in the functional areas of B2R, O2C, CA, P2P, and A2R in 2010 to 2011. We assisted to implement new agencies and support 14 existing agencies in B2R functional area in DoD DAI (Defense Agencies Initiative) project. Participated in DAI R12 implementation project for B2R are including Multi-org structure, ledger access, SLA configuration with sub-ledger posting logics, new GTAS features in Fed Amin (USSGL changes from 6.4 to 6.6, BETC, Federal Account Creation Process, DDRS reporting and QDD quantitative data drilldown etc.)
We migrate the DCAA’s legacy DBMS accounting system into DAI, integrate agency legacy DMIS (Management Information System) and provide post-production support. DCAA’s implementation with the customized timecard form, DMIS’s audit assignments integration, customized reimbursable programs have been recognized as the most successful migrated agency within DAI history. Currently, we continue to support agency operation reached 98% obligation rate in 2019 and 2020, clean payroll reconciliation allocated to 85% of budget, low UMD and clean audit.
The project is to support new developments, maintenance of existing modules and implementation of business units, including iExpense, Sirius Billing system interface with AR, clearinghouse, Europe Geolink banking system interfaced with Oracle Payables, vendor data conversion, global report design and web requisition projects. The scope covered eight Global Business Units (US, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and Netherlands). This global project required global GL consolidation of US entity and foreign legal entities and foreign currency translation and intercompany transactions were implemented.
Implement Oracle Release 11i E-Business suite for MTN Mobil Telecommunication Network Company in Cameroon. MTNC decided to switch from their small accounting system (Pastel) to a full suite of Oracle Applications (General ledger, Account Payables, Accounts Receivables, Cash Management, Purchase Order, Assets, Project Costing/Accounting) In addition, this project scope contains Business process re-engineering and revised accounting policy, interfaces designed and integrated POS Lexys system with Receivables module.
An upgrade project from 10.7 to 11.5.8. Extensive testing and setup new features and enhancements in modules of GL, AP and FA in conjunction with this upgrade project, including GL journal approval, AP new accounting process, AP online invoice approval, property management and FA security by books.
The project is to upgrade Oracle 11.5.8 to 11.5.10 by re-implementation and support the Oracle Financial applications and integrated Hyperion system, including GL, AP, PO, FA, and CM modules. The purpose of project is to lay a groundwork for the growth of company and have the system with the most up-to-dated features and patches. One DBA, one functional consultant and one developer consultant completed this project on time, within budget and our team got an annual achievement award.
